The Alaia is a replica of the ancient hawaiian timber surfboard. Made from sustainable harvested Paulownia timber you get to make your own custom design and add pyrograhpic artwork. No matter they are challenging to ride, they are a great collectors item to hang on the wall!
Come alone, or as a couple or parent child combo. A minimum of THREE participants are needed.
This is a simple woodworking project that requires no previous experience. I have been making Alaias for the past ten years and was formerly a design and technology teacher.

Classes take place in the illawarra woodwork school York Place Wonoona NSW.
Classes can be either mid week nights or weekends depending on demand. It typically takes three three hour classes or combination thereof. Minimum class size is 3 and maximum is 6.
Costs include all materials, workshop rental, tuition and insurances.
